The centrally planned Baroque Church of Santa Teresa is located a short distance from the central Piazza Guglielmo Marconi, overlooked by the Alvito Town Hall. Just a few steps from the church, it is possible to admire a stupendous panorama of the Val di Comino. The church, of 17th-century origin, is in masonry with exposed stonework, with the façade divided into two orders, the lower part adorned by a portal framed by pilasters and a triangular tympanum, and the upper part occupied by a beautiful oval window adorned by a mixtilinear cornice and also surmounted by another triangular tympanum. Today, this place of worship is the seat of the Confraternity of San Rocco and houses a beautiful statue of the Saint, who is celebrated on 16 August with a procession and solemn mass.
