A romance without food? There’s nothing quite like it! There’s no better place to get to know one another than a restaurant in the Comino Valley, whether it’s a gourmet restaurant such as The Alley (Atina), street food such as Pint (Atina) or a pizzeria recognised by Gambero Rosso as Mother Flour (Atina). A delicious breakfast in a cosy café and a final visit to a bar for an Italian-style aperitif.
Walking hand in hand through the villages of the Comino Valley
A walk through the Comino Valley is always a good idea; you can get to know yourself better by exploring our beautiful valley. A stroll through the valley’s historic villages, such as Atina, San Donato Val di Comino and Picinisco. Or, for the more active, a hike in the mountains of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park. For a bit of culture, we recommend popping into the Archaeological Museum of Atina and the Comino Valley, that’s not a bad idea!

During your walk, you can enjoy the view of the valley from the various villages. There’s no better place to do this than the Atina viewpoint, in its historic centre, or the one in Picinisco, where you can admire magnificent sunsets and immediately realise just how beautiful the Comino Valley is.

The Comino Valley offers a wide range of excellent bars where you can spend the evening enjoying live music. For example, you could round off your day with a touch of romantic jazz at the’Artù Café in Athens, where local artists perform every week.
